Install the app in 5 minutes with the built-in web based installer. Just these 4 steps:

• check Input database settings
• check Input website admin credentials
• check Specify openexchangerates.org API key
• check Set up a cron job to auto update market data (post installation step)

Any web server with PHP support and URL rewrite module enabled. Most of the hosting companies use Apache with mod_rewrite, which is enough. Please check with them first of you are not sure.
